Daywise Itinerary

Welcome to the Kingdom of Bhutan, a land of breathtaking mountain scenery, ancient traditions, and spiritual heritage. Upon landing at Paro International Airport, you will be warmly received by our representative and begin a scenic drive to Thimphu, Bhutan's vibrant capital.

The route follows crystal-clear rivers and charming villages nestled among forested hills. Along the way, witness Bhutan's pristine landscapes and traditional architecture that make the country unique.

Upon arrival in Thimphu, check into your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Take a gentle walk around the city, discover local cafés, or simply relax and acclimatize to the peaceful surroundings.

After breakfast, set out to discover the cultural and historical treasures of Thimphu. Begin with a visit to the majestic Buddha Dordenma, an enormous golden statue overlooking the valley and offering spectacular panoramic views.

Continue your exploration with visits to important cultural attractions where you can learn about Bhutanese traditions, arts, and daily life. Discover the country's rich textile heritage, observe traditional paper-making techniques, and gain insight into centuries-old craftsmanship that continues to thrive today.

Later, visit one of Bhutan's most significant fortress-monasteries, an architectural masterpiece that serves both religious and administrative purposes. In the evening, browse local markets filled with handicrafts, souvenirs, and traditional products.

Today, journey towards the fertile valley of Punakha. En route, cross the famous Dochula Pass, one of Bhutan's most scenic mountain viewpoints. Adorned with 108 memorial chortens, the pass offers magnificent views of the snow-covered Himalayan peaks on clear days.

Descending into the warmer Punakha Valley, visit the revered Chimi Lhakhang, a sacred temple that attracts pilgrims from across Bhutan. Continue to the magnificent Punakha Dzong, widely considered the most beautiful fortress in the country. Located at the confluence of two rivers, it showcases exquisite Bhutanese architecture and rich history.

Conclude the day with a walk across the impressive suspension bridge stretching high above the river.

After breakfast, travel to the enchanting Phobjikha Valley, one of Bhutan's most beautiful natural landscapes. This broad glacial valley is renowned for its untouched beauty, tranquil environment, and seasonal visits by the rare black-necked cranes.

Today, embark on a journey to the remote and picturesque Haa Valley. Known for its unspoiled beauty and peaceful ambiance, Haa remains one of Bhutan's least-explored regions.

Surrounded by alpine forests, towering mountains, and traditional settlements, the valley offers an authentic Bhutanese experience far from the tourist crowds. Explore local villages, admire traditional architecture, and enjoy the breathtaking natural scenery that defines this hidden Himalayan gem.

After breakfast, leave Haa Valley and travel towards Paro via the spectacular Chele La Pass. At over 3,900 meters above sea level, it is Bhutan's highest motorable mountain pass.

The drive rewards travelers with incredible views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks, colorful prayer flags fluttering in the mountain breeze, and vast alpine landscapes. On clear days, the majestic Mount Jomolhari can be seen rising above the horizon.

Upon reaching Paro, visit notable cultural attractions and spend time exploring the town's lively markets, traditional shops, and charming streets.

A highlight of every Bhutan journey awaits today. After breakfast, begin the unforgettable trek to Taktsang Monastery, popularly known as Tiger's Nest.

Perched dramatically on a cliff approximately 900 meters above the valley floor, this sacred monastery is among Bhutan's most revered landmarks. The trail winds through pine forests, prayer wheels, and scenic viewpoints, offering spectacular views throughout the journey.

After visiting the monastery and experiencing its spiritual atmosphere, return to Paro and relax with a traditional Bhutanese hot stone bath, a perfect way to unwind after the hike.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before checking out from your hotel. Transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward flight.
