After breakfast, depart for Thimphu, Bhutan's fascinating capital city. The drive takes you through breathtaking mountain scenery, winding roads, dense forests, waterfalls, and picturesque river valleys.

Upon arrival, check into your hotel and begin exploring the city's cultural landmarks. Visit the revered National Memorial Chorten, one of the most important religious monuments in Bhutan where locals gather daily for prayers and meditation.

Continue to the Folk Heritage Museum, where you can gain valuable insight into traditional Bhutanese lifestyles, customs, and architecture. Later, visit the impressive Tashichho Dzong, an iconic fortress-monastery that serves as the administrative and religious center of the kingdom.

Start your morning with a visit to the magnificent Buddha Dordenma, a towering statue that overlooks the entire Thimphu Valley. This remarkable monument is one of the largest seated Buddha statues in the world and offers spectacular views of the surrounding landscape.

Later, begin your journey toward Punakha, crossing the famous Dochula Pass. Situated at an elevation of over 3,000 meters, the pass is renowned for its 108 beautifully constructed chortens and breathtaking views of the snow-covered Himalayas.

Upon reaching Punakha, explore the stunning Punakha Dzong, widely regarded as Bhutan's most beautiful fortress. Located at the meeting point of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers, the dzong is an architectural masterpiece and an important historical landmark.

In the evening, take a leisurely walk across the famous Punakha Suspension Bridge while enjoying the peaceful riverside scenery.
